How to Install the TuxlerVPN Chrome Extension
Browser-extension note: TuxlerVPN for Chrome requires Premium, uses a datacenter connection, and routes supported Chrome traffic only.
Before installation, review how a VPN browser extension works and which traffic remains outside the browser.
Installation
- Open the official Chrome extension download page.
- Follow the link to the current Chrome Web Store listing.
- Confirm that the publisher and requested permissions match the information on the TuxlerVPN site.
- Select Add to Chrome, review the browser’s permission prompt, and confirm only if you agree.
- Pin the extension if you want its control visible on the toolbar.
- Sign in with an account that has an active Premium plan and follow the current on-screen setup instructions.
Verify the installation
Open the extension and confirm its connection status. Remember that browser extensions cover only traffic handled by that browser. For a broader check of the public IP, DNS, and browser behavior, follow the VPN testing guide. Keep Chrome and the extension updated, and remove the extension if you no longer use it.
For a Standard plan or a residential connection, use the Windows application. The Windows setup guide explains installation, plan selection, and verification.
